PURPOSE:To provide a stage effect of producing a mystic and fantastic atmosphere by means of an ever-changing curtain of light by artificially producing an aurora, the natural luminous phenomenon observable in high latitudes in the Arctic Circle and the Antarctic Circle, in the presence of many spectators in theaters, event sites, etc. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of optical fibers 1 the outer surface of which leaks light are prepared and arranged coplanar with one another to form a light- leaking fiber curtain 2 suspended from a curtain rail 3, and the curtain 2 is suspended in weavy form. The light-leaking optical fibers are grouped as needed to introduce light rays of different colors. In addition to the leakage of the light from inside, light rays of various colors are projected onto the outside face of the curtain. When needed means are provided for swinging the light- leaking optical fiber curtain 2 vertically and horizontally, and for providing the effects of shading off and fluctuating by means of smoke and curtains made of cloth. |
