PURPOSE:To manage which kind of group of a mobile station is in existence in each radio zone while suppressing traffic of a control signal in the mobile body radio communication system serving communication among mobile stations of a same group. CONSTITUTION:Mobile stations ML1-ML6 of the same group have a same identification number. Each of relay stations 1-A or the like gives a management number specific to its own relay station to all control signals and sends the result, and when each of the relay stations receives a position registration request control signal including an ID number from a mobile station, the station registers the ID number to a management memory and sends the position registration end control signal including the ID number. Furthermore, the ID number whose memory registration time elapses a 1st time or over is eliminated from the management memory. Each of the mobile stations MLI or the like sends a position registration request control signal when the station receives a control signal including a new management number and does not receive the position registration end control signal including the ID number of its own mobile station for a 2nd time shorter than the 1st time. The 2nd time is set differently among the mobile stations of the same group in the same radio zone.
