PURPOSE:To prevent temperature of fed-out hot water during a feeding-out of the hot water from being lowered and the temperature of hot water within a hot water storing tank from being lowered when an anti-freezing operation is being carried out and when a defrosting operation is being performed by a method wherein a threeway valve, a pump and a four-way valve are controlled with signals got from a flow rate sensor, a water feeding temperature sensor and a frosting sensor. CONSTITUTION:A three-way valve 17 is arranged within a hot water feeding circuit 9 and near a connecting part with a hot water feeding-out pipe 10. A flow rate sensor 19 is arranged in a water feeding-out circuit 18 branched from the three-way valve 17 to a lower part of a hot water storing tank 7 and in a hot water feeding-out pipe 10. A cold water feeding temperature sensor 13 is arranged in a cold water feeding circuit 9. A frosting sensor 14 is arranged at an evaporator 6. There is provided a controller 20 for use in controlling the three-way valve 17, the pump 8 and the four-way valve 2 with the signals got from each of the aforesaid sensors. when the hot water is fed out, the three-way valve 17 is changed over in such a way that the hot water feeding circuit 11 and the cold water feeding-out circuit 18 are communicated to each other by a flow rate sensor 19. During an anti-freezing operation, the pump 8 is controlled to have the minimum flow rate by a cold water feeding temperature sensor 13 and at the same time the three-way valve 17 is changed over and in turn when the defrosting operation is started to operate, the controlling operation for changing-over the four-way valve 2 and the three-way valve 17 with the frosting sensor 14 is carried out by the frosting sensor 14 with the controller 20. |
