<p>Cutting machine in which a cutting station has a work bench in which a cutting line is defined, and also a substructure which supports the work bench, and a cutting blade for cutting the material along the cutting line. The work bench has a support surface for the material, in which surface a number of holes are formed. The cutting machine additionally has a pneumatic system for generating compressed air, and channels for delivering the compressed air to the holes in order thereby to form an air cushion between the work bench and the material. The air cushion is particularly convenient for preventing the material from sliding across the work bench when the material is being loaded and unloaded at the cutting station.</p> |
