<p>PURPOSE:To realize the batch broadcast communication system making an effective use of a network resource and saving the network for broadcast communication. CONSTITUTION:A transmission source terminal 10a inserts all destination information at least into a leading broadcast packet at its transmission without requiring to register the destination in the network in advance. For the broadcast communication, more than one packet exchange devices 11a and 11b are intervened, making the information storage network unnecessary. The packet exchange devices 11a and 11b have broadcast packet processors 12a and 12b on the front of routing devices. The broadcast packet processors 12a and 12b retrieve transmission paths according to the destination of the reception packet strings. According to the retrieval result, the transmission information of the reception packet strings are given to the routing device while forming the transmission packet strings containing the transmission information of the reception packet string. Thus, each transmission packet string is sent to the next packet exchange device or to the destination terminals according to the destination.</p> |
