PURPOSE:To provide the sufficient removability of the energy diffusion signals as avoiding distortion for video signal level as much as possible regarding satellite television broadcasting by CS of which the level of the energy diffusion signals superposed on video signals is about five times large compared with the one of BS. CONSTITUTION:The low level video signals inputted to an energy diffusion signal removing device 20 are pulse-clamped by a pulse clamp circuit 21 without generating the distortion and the energy diffusion signals are roughly removed. In this case, it is not necessary to remove the energy diffusion signals perfectly so that the distortion is not generated on the video signals by the influence of the non-linearlity of an amplifier 9 to be connected in the next step. The video signals amplified upto 2Vp-p by the amplifier 9 are inputted to a clamp circuit 10. The energy diffusion signals are removed sufficiently by this clamp circuit 10, and the removal of the energy diffusion signals to withstand use even for the satellite television broadcasting by CS can be provided.
