The bottle neck (60) has annular sealing rings (61). The device has a hollow cylindrical body (10) with an interior flange (11) defining, in the upper part, a chamber for housing the base (22) of the sealing part (20). An annular clip (12) confines the seal (20), its chamfered end (21) and base (22). A holder (30) between the seal (20) and a cap (40) is held by a semi-rigid plastic cover (50) having an interior clip (51) and a lower thinned part (52). Fixing is effected by engaging the annular clips (12) under the lower sealing ring (61) on the bottle neck (62). USE/ADVANTAGE - Re-corking of sparkling wine bottles with ease of engagement or disengagement and preventing escaping pressure affecting the sealing.
