The seat (1) has a structure, made in a strong supple material, which holds the child. It has two feet (11) projecting from its back surface (6), on either side of a vertical median plane. These hold an adult seat belt, for use by the child, and a stop (12) on each lateral wall (3,4) of the seat, near the back wall, guide the belt. The lateral walls of the seat form a tub shape which holds the child in position. The front wall (5) of the seat is inclined and its interior is mainly the shape of a parallelepiped.
