摘要 The injection device is for Diesel engines. It has a pump plunger (2), a plunger sleeve (3), and a control valve (4). The valve is located in a bore (8) in the injection pump element (1). It is held sealed by sealing elements (9) between radial steps on the outer circumference of the valve or the bore. The sealing elements are multi-sectional. Each element has a defined axial gap (18) to an end face of the steps (19). A radial gap (14) is formed between control valve and bore, in the area between the sealing elements. Axial and radial dimensions of the radial gap cause it to act as hydraulic throttle gap. The axial gap is formed, so that the kinetic energy of the fuel at the sealing element, does not damage that element.
