The method for preliminary treatment of components or products made of steel before enamelling is characterised by the fact that they are held in an annealing or a baking furnace under normal atmosphere at a temp. dependent on the type of their material (between 300 deg.C and 820 deg.C) for a period of 1-15 min. The temp. of preliminary treatment lies between 400-600 deg.C, with its duration between 1 and 5 min. USE/ADVANTAGE - In manufacture of enamelled components and products. In comparison with the traditionally employed decreasing processes, it is quicker and cheaper. Furthermore, it creates no problems connected with environment contamination.
