In a meshed network, telecommunication call from an emitter-end telecommunications device (A) are routed via an originating node (ON), transit nodes (TN1, ..., TN7) and a destination node (DN), to a receiver-end telecommunications device (B). To prevent network loops, the node which is next in the routing sequence is determined in the transit nodes on the basis of the originating node number and the destination node identification number. This allows the node numbers of all the nodes in the routing path to be incorporated in the signalling data relating to the telecommunication call and the node which is next in the routing can also be determined on the basis of these node numbers.
