<p>A system of safety coupling for suspended loads, especially for the coupling of opposite ends 3, 4 of horizontal shafts 2 in corresponding seats 7 formed on the essentially vertical side walls 5, 6 of a warehouse or a loading bay, comprises means of locking said ends 3, 4 in the transverse direction, associated with elastic means acting on the opposite ends 3, 4 in the axial direction, to prevent them from becoming disengaged from the corresponding seats 7, there being provided a discontinuity formed along the edge of the seats. Each seat comprises a continuous peripheral lip 16 projecting from the plane 17 of the corresponding wall 5, 6, on the opposite side relative to the shaft 2, with at least one sharp-corner step 18 formed along the lip. The seats 7 are comprised of slotted openings formed on the walls 5, 6, with one portion of wide end 8 connected to a portion of narrow end 9. <IMAGE></p> |
