<p>Roll stripping apparatus (44) for a round baler (10) that has a frame (11) and crop conveying means, including rotatable transverse rolls (30, 32-37), mounted on the frame (11). The conveying means provide a series of inwardly facing moving surfaces that define a baling chamber for forming cylindrical bales of crop material fed into the chamber via a pick-up. A scraper assembly (45), mounted adjacent one of the rolls (55) for preventing build-up of unwanted material on the roll, includes improved structure (57, 58) for engaging unwanted debris randomly deposited on the roll (55) and urging it in a generally axial direction when the roll is being rotated. <IMAGE></p> |
