PURPOSE:To obtain the binoculars which does not darken the visual field and is nevertheless capable of supplying the quantity of light enough to obtain sufficient accuracy to a focusing detecting element module by providing a lighting window separately from the objective lens. CONSTITUTION:Light entering from the distance measuring lighting windows 6, 6' provided on the right and left of objective lenses 1, 1' aside therefrom is led into a housing H through stationary and movable reflecting bodies 7, 7'. At the moment when the movable reflecting body 7' passes the angle proportional to the distance up to an object, the two images coincide and at this moment, a focusing detecting module 11 emits a focusing signal. On the other hand, eyepieces 3b, 3b' are so controlled as to move up to the position corresponding to the angle of the movable reflecting body 7' of the moment when the double images of the object coindide. In this way, the bright image of high accuracy may be obtained. |
