The invention relates to a fastening element for securing at least one moulding (L1, ... L5), provided on its rear side with at least one groove (N0, ... N5), in a concealed manner, said fastening element comprising a base (B) and at least one retaining portion (1) which can be brought into engagement with the groove (N0, ... N5). The novel fastening element is characterised in that the retaining portion (1) arranged on the base (B) comprises an elongate body (2) which, seen in elevation or in longitudinal section, is essentially in the form of a rectangle, parallelogram or trapezium and on the opposite side surfaces (2.1, ... 2.6) of which there is integrally formed at least one essentially prismatic securing element (3.1, ... 3.n; 4.1, ... 4.n) which runs in the longitudinal direction of the retaining portion and the tapered prism side surfaces (S1; S2) of which are inclined at an angle of from 50 to 70 DEG and from 10 to 35 DEG , respectively, with respect to the side surfaces (2.1, ... 2.6). <IMAGE> |
