The attractant for flies and other insects, in order to exterminate them, is made by (a) milling and extruding a mixt. of sardines and squid; (b) mixing with water contg. a proteolytic enzyme; (c) agitating for 48-72 hours at 30-35 deg. C; (d) adding ethanol, stirring strongly and standing for 6-8 hours; and (e) filtering to obtain a clear amber liquid prod.
