AUXILIARY MEMORY MANAGEMENT METHOD

摘要

The method checks states of auxiliary memory assemblies and reporting the result to an upper processor so that auxiliary memory assemblies are supervised effectively. The method comprises the steps of: (A) generating test unit ready signal periodically using a timer equipped in a large capacity memory interface board; (B) executing main job under processing and checking state of auxiliary memory; (C) storing state change of auxiliary memory; and (C) deciding main processor system bus to be used and reporting state change to the upper level processor.
