PURPOSE:To inhibit generation of quench and embody an extremely stabilized superconducting coil by winding the first half superconducting wiring axially on an outer peripheral surface of a cylinder-shaped support member with a predetermined span and winding the latter half of the wiring in such a fashion that it may be buried with a predetermined span. CONSTITUTION:A first stage of winding 12-1 is turned by housing a superconducting wiring 12 in a clearance groove 15 of a cylinder-shaped support member 11a. After the winding is over, a ring-shaped cover 13 is pasted to the both ends of the cylinder-shaped support member 11a respectively in such a fashion that its mating groove 17 may correspond to an intermediate groove 16. A second stage of winding 12-2 is turned by housing the rest of the superconducting wiring 12 in the mating groove of the cylinder-shaped support member 11a, the intermediate groove 16 and the ring-shaped cover 13. Then, it is submerged with resin and then hardened, thereby manufacturing a superconducting coil 11. This construction makes it possible to fix the superconducting material firmly and prevent the generation of disturbances. |
