PURPOSE:To output a name together with a single unit code and the number of units even with such commodities whose information is deleted out of a single unit file when a purchase history of a customer is inquired. CONSTITUTION:A single unit file is provided together with a customer file, and a name file which stores in pairs the single unit code and the name of the commodities whose data is deleted out of the single unit file. When the history information is inquired, the corresponding history information is called out of the customer file and the single unit file is retrieved based on the single unit code of the history information. If the record of the relevant single unit code is available, the name data included in the record is added to the history information and outputted. If not, the name data corresponding to the relevant single unit code is called out of the name file, added to the history information, and outputted. |
