<p>PURPOSE:To keep brake stopping distance of a car constant and thus to stop the car at a home position by a method wherein a load on the car is detected at acceleration, and a dynamic braking force is adjusted according to the detected signal. CONSTITUTION:A DC power 7 is connected to an armature 5 by turning a change- over switch 8 to A side, and thus a motor 4 is driven. A change in current arising at acceleration of a car is detected by a load detecting device 11, and keep relays 14, 15 are operated according to the load condition. Assuming, for example, a total resistance connected to the armature 5 at the time of no-load for which contacts 14a, 15a are opened be Rt1, a total resistance at the time of medium-load for which the contact 14a is closed and the contact 15a is opened Rt2, and a total resistance at the time of high-load for which contacts 14a, 15a are closed Rt3, Rt1>Rt2>Rt3.
