<p>PURPOSE:To easily operate a pointing device by utilizing the moving speed of the pointing device for change in a display state. CONSTITUTION:A mouse moving speed arithmetic unit 21 calculates a relative mouse moving speed based upon a mouse moving distance transferred from X- and Y-direction moving counters and a mouse moving angle arithmetic unit 22 calculates a mouse moving angle based upon the ratio of the X- and Y-direction moving distances transferred from the X- and Y-direction moving counters. A display information control system 25 executes decision based upon information outputted from a mouse movable range judging device 24 and information transferred from the arithmetic units 21, 22 and updates the display status changing information of a window and a mouse pointer and information stored in a window display data storage device 26, a window display size storage device 27, a window display position storage device 28, and a mouse pointer display position storage device 29.</p> |
