<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the number of phase-shifting control signal lines sent to a phased array antenna from a beam scanning arithmetic part and to elimi nate an inductive inference from other phase-shifting control signal line a phased array antenna system. CONSTITUTION:A phase-shifting control signal from a beam scanning arithmetic part 8 is sent out successively and selectively at every radiation element by the signal of a series bit constitution (serial data), and on the side of a phased array antenna 1, a serial-parallel signal converter (series-parallel converting circuit) is provided in advance on a phase shifter control circuit 16, the signal of a series bit constitution is converted to the signal of a parallel bit constitution (parallel data) to be held and after, the transmission of the phase-shifting control signal of an all radiation element portion is finished, it is held simultaneously by a latching circuit (holding circuit), inputted to each phase shifter driver 4 (phase shifter driver), and the phase shifting quantity control of a phase shifter 3 is executed.</p> |
