PURPOSE:To secondarily treat a distance to an object such as a tree, a building and an ornament, etc., which is not regarded as the object to be photographed and to take a clear photograph where a human figure is considered as prior in the case that the human figure exists among the objects by detecting whether the object is the human figure or not. CONSTITUTION:The light of a position detecting element (PSD) 2 for a range- finder unit, of the pyroelectricity type infrared ray sensor 4 and of an infrared ray emitting diode (IRED) 3 is transferred and received by a light receiving lens 2a, a sensor lens 4a and a light projecting lens 3a installed on the front surface 1a of a housing. And the PSD 2, the sensor 4 and the IRED 3 are connected with a range finding integrated circuit, a sensor IC and an IRED driver, and a distance signal from the PSD 2 and a distance signal from the sensor 4 are transferred to a CPU. And then, the IRED driver is actuated under the control of the CPU, and the photographic lens in a lens barrel is actuated through a lens barrel driving circuit under the control of the CPU. Thus, the clear photograph where the human figure is considered as prior can be photographed in the case that the human figure exists among the objects. |
