PURPOSE:To obtain the game device in which the display part is a large screen having a wide visual field angle, and which is excellent in shock resistance, and has a design latitude by providing the display part formed by a liquid crystal display element constituted by inserting and holding a liquid crystal material containing a ferroelectric high polymer liquid crystal by a substrate made of a resin. CONSTITUTION:A variable picture pattern display part 1a which is arranged in the upper part as a liquid crystal display part 1, and whose picture pattern is fluctuated at the time of prize-winning to a prize-winning port, and a ball discharging state display part 1b which is arranged in the lower part, and displays a state of discharge balls to that time on that day are formed. An IC chip 3 is provided with a circuit for driving a liquid crystal display element, based on a signal from a central control part which is not shown in the figure. Also, the liquid crystal display part 1 is constituted by inserting and holding a liquid crystal material 9 containing a ferroelectric high polymer liquid crystal by a substrate 7 made of a resin, provided with a transparent electrode 8, and connected to the IC chip 3 through the electrode 8. As for a polarizing plate 11, only one piece is enough, and it is allowable to place a reflecting plate on the outside of the polarizing plate 11 of the rear. |
