<p>In the base plates of esp. nuclear reactors have central orifices of different diameters and two concentric tubular elements are fitted fluid-tightly by preparing joints in the orifices, fitting a first tubular element into the plate having the largest orifice, welding the first tube against the plate with the smaller orifice, fitting a second tube inside the first to leave a space between them, welding the second tube against the tube with the smaller orifice. A support is provided between the tubes at the level of the plate with the larger orifice. Two fluid tight joints are provided between the outer tube and the plates, and one fluid tight joint between the two casings.</p> |
