PURPOSE:To permit an operator to execute an operation in accordance with the display and the instruction of a video display so as to speedily and easily execute a processing by inputting most suitable information in accordance with the type of a jam occurred in a display cut. CONSTITUTION:When the jam occurs in a device, transaction is immediately stopped and the effect is displayed in the display 81 of an internal monitor 80. The operator views it, depresses a panel switch and the cut output is instructed. A main control part checks the transportation state of a medium based on said cut. When there is no remaining medium in all transportation routes in a machine, a return key is depressed and transaction is resumed. When the medium is jammed in any transportation route in the machine, a unit where the jam occurs is stored. Then, a jammed position is detected. Thus, a part where the cut applied to said position is stored is extracted based on the result. Thus, the jammed part and the removing instruction are displayed in the display 81. The jammed medium is removed by viewing the message. |
