<p>Manufacture of croquettes and similar edible products by: (a) extruding a block of stewed meat from an outlet, pref., slot-shaped, in the bottom of a cylinder by means of a piston, cutting the block transversely by a knife on the bottom of the cylinder and delivering it to a conveyor belt, provided with breadcrumbs from a storage bin by a distribution roll, (b) moving the block of cooked meat by the conveyor belt below and against a roll plate by means of which it is rolled over the belt through the bread crumbs to form a cylindrical or spherical croquette, (c) transferring the croquettes to a conveyor on which they are sprayed with white of egg and thereafter transferring them to a second conveyor belt provided with bread crumbs, on which they are conveyed with crumbs by a second roll plate, and from which they are discharged for further processing.</p> |
