PURPOSE:To make a jags (saw-tooth-like noise) inconspicuous at the time of displaying white on a liquid crystal panel which has not the gradation function and has the quad constitution of R, G, B, and W. CONSTITUTION:It is used that not only white of high luminance is displayed by turning-on of four dots of R, G, B, and W but also white of low luminance can be displayed by turning-on of three dots of R, G, and B, and three dots of R, G, and B in the periphery of a white line of high luminance, which is displayed by four dots of R, G, B, and W, as the center are lit to artificially display the white of low luminance. A pattern for artificial display is stored in a font memory 3 and is properly read out by a graphic controller GC 1 and is plotted over in frame memories 2a and 2b. |
