<p>PURPOSE:To provide a controller for electric automobile which can perform such position control as an automobile can keep stopping quietly with no vibration even if a driver is not stepping the brake pedal. CONSTITUTION:Control circuit 6 for an electric automobile 1 comprises a speed.torque command generating circuit 10, a position control selecting circuit 11, a position command generating circuit 12, and a motor control circuit 13, wherein the control of motor 3 is switched from torque control to position control upon stoppage of the automobile. According to the constitution, the automobile can stay standstill without moving back and forth even if the driver releases brake after stoppage of automobile. Furthermore, the automobile can automatically travel a distance designated by a simple command provided from the driver during stoppage under position control and stay standstill at that position.</p> |
