<p>PURPOSE:To provide an active matrix type liquid crystal display device reducing its production cost by reducing the number of data electrode side driving circuits, capable of easily connecting the driving circuit to a panel terminal electrode and improving the yield of connection by constituting the display device of a TFT array. CONSTITUTION:The active matrix type liquid crystal display device consisting of arraying MXN (M and N are optional positive integers) picture element electrodes like a matrix is constituted of 2N scanning lines 8-1 to 8-2N each of which allocates two lines to one scanning direction display line, M/2 data lines 6-1 to 6-M/2, the 1st TFT gates G1 each of which is connected to a optional data line and one scanning line in each display line, and the 2nd TFT gates G2 each of which is connected to the data line and the other scanning line.</p> |
