METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PURGING POLLUTED GAS FLOWS

The method and the device find application especially in disastrous situations, e.g. in troubles and emergencies in nuclear power plants, chemical enterprises, etc. They increase the degree of purification and work autonomously without the need of additional sources of energy. The gas flow passed through a distributor (14) located in a water layer (32). Afterwards it passes through multitude of input openings (64) located at various distances under the level (34) of the liquid (32) and comes out in jets through a great number of output openings (31) located at a substantially greater height (h) than the level of the input channels (64). Passing through the output part of the distribution facility (14), which is farmed as output nozzles of the Venturi type (28) each gas jet sucks liquid through radial openings (29) located in the bases of the nozzles (28). The gas coming out of the output openings (31) is directed through reflecting surfaces (30) where it is broken down into fine bubbles that rise through the liquid (32) to its surface (34).
