The air deflector is fitted to those windscreen wipers, which are composed of two sections, the wiper arm and blade. The mounting (10), of the wiper arm, carries the blade (11), so that it can clean the glass surface (3). The deflector is fitted to either the arm or the blade carrier, in such a way as to present a given profile. The profile consists of an inner curved surface (17), which is nearer to the glass, and an outer curved surface (18). The two surfaces meet to form a leading edge (19) and a trailing edge (20). The two curves (17,18) have the opposite curvature. USE/ADVANTAGE - It is effective with a reduced cross section and length and thus does not impair the vision of the driver.
