The longitudinally adjustable roof tile has a uniform profile on its upper side. It possesses a side-, top-, and foot-groove part and forms, when laid, a vertical lateral joint. Despite the longitudinal displaceability, it is intended to improve the rain protection. For this purpose, the foot-groove part (4) is assigned at least one U-rib (446) which adjoins a foot-groove rib (44). The U-legs end at the latter, the connecting web (4462) of the U-rib is constructed parallel to the foot-groove rib, and the height of the U-rib is less than the height of the foot-groove rib by the dimension a of an inner head-groove rib. <IMAGE> |
