PURPOSE:To easily set a delay time by specifying the delay time of a delay unit which constitutes a parallel-connected comb filter and setting frequencies at which each comb filter generate a reference vibration peak at equal intervals on a logarithmic axis. CONSTITUTION:The reverberation adding device is equipped with (n) parallel connected stages of comb filters; and the delay time of the (k)th delay unit constituting each comb filter is set to Tk=T1/2(k-1)/n and the frequencies at which the respective comb filters generate reference vibration peaks are set at the equal intervals on the logarithmic axis. Consequently, similar uniform intervals are obtained logically and as to octaves, the peaks become hard to overlap with one another, and the intervals make faults due to periodicity hard to appear as to a hearing feeling. Therefore, the frequency characteristics can be flattened by the least number of comb filters and operation for generating a variation of many reverberation sounds is facilitated. |
