<p>PURPOSE:To improve the precision of motion detection. CONSTITUTION:An NTSC receiver receives the EDTV picture signal consisting of a main signal to be displayed as a picture and an auxiliary signal as the high-frequency component of the luminance signal and detects the motion. The received EDTV picture signal is decomposed to a main signal 51 and an auxiliary signal 52, and they are subjected to motion detection by motion detecting circuits 1 and 2 to generate motion signals 53 and 54. Motion signals 53 and 54 are mixed to obtain a motion signal 55 by a mixing circuit 3.</p> |
