The equipment inserts the slides supporting the curtain in the curtain-rail, or removes them from it. There is a gap in the curtain-rail (1) at the insertion and removal point (2), allowing insertion and removal of the auxiliary rail (4). Two slides (10, 11) move in the plane of the travel flanges (9) of the curtain-rail between an outer position allowing insertion of the auxiliary rail, and an inner one bridging the gap. Guide bushes (7) to the sides of the flanges accommodate pins (6) on the auxiliary rail end. ADVANTAGE - Holds rail in line during entire operation.
