摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in the pressure resistance of TFTs, the disconnection of gate buses, etc., without degrading brightness by forming the parts of storage capacity electrodes facing a transparent substrate of translucent metallic thin films and coating the front surfaces facing insulating films of oxide films. CONSTITUTION:This liquid crystal display panel is constituted by connecting picture element electrodes 6 to drain buses 10 and the gate buses 4 via the TFTs constituted of gate electrodes 3, operating semiconductor films 7, source electrodes 8 and drain electrodes 9. The parts of the storage capacity electrodes 12 formed in the display region where the electrodes face the transparent substrate 1 are constituted of the translucent metallic thin films 13 and the front surfaces of the metallic thin films 13 facing the insulating films 5 are coated by the oxide films 14. Namely, the storage capacity electrodes 12 are subjected to a plasma oxidation treatment, by which the parts facing the glass substrate 1 are changed to the translucent metallic thin films 13. In addition, the front surfaces facing the insulating films 5 and both flanks are coated by the oxide films 14 formed at the time of the plasma oxidation treatment. Then, the brightness is made higher than in the case the above-mentioned parts are constituted of the mere metallic thin films.</p>
