PURPOSE:To correct not only the position deviation of an image, but also the distortion of the image by an image input processor which corrects the vector type data to correct the position deviation, etc., of the input image. CONSTITUTION:Reference points P1-P4 in an S-system image and reference corresponding points D1-D4 in a D-system image are set and inputted by an operator. A linear conversion expression for moving the respective sides of a quadrangule TS to the respective sides of a quadrangule TD are found from the points P1-P4 and Q1-Q4. When data are corrected, a group of four points S1-S4 corresponding to an optional point S0 in the S-system image are determined on straight lines L1-L4. The four points S1-S4 are moved onto straight lines L1'-L4' by the linear conversion expression to obtain four points D1-D4. A point D0 as an image of the So is found from those four points D1-D4. |
