PURPOSE:To repare and reproduce data files while avoiding that an operator is conscious of environments for preparing and reproducing respective medium data by providing medium information data required for reproducing the data of media in the data files. CONSTITUTION:A data file preparing device 100 is provided with plural media 1-A, 1-B...1-N or processing means for data from the respective media 1-A to 1-N. A file editing part 2 prepares files by combining the data in the respective media 1-A to 1-N. A medium information adding means 3 adds the medium information data required for reproducing the data in the respective media 1-A to 1-N combined to the files. In this case, the data file is provided with the medium information data required for reproducing the data in the media constituting the file and, in a desired form, however, the medium data and the medium information data are integrally or correspondently formed in the data file. |
