PURPOSE:To start actual reception at a desired reception start time by starting movement of an antenna the movement time, which is required for movement of the antenna from the present position to an objective position, before a designated time. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 11 calculates a movement time required for movement of the antenna from the present position to the objective position based on the moving speed of the antenna. After this calculation, the microprocessor 11 performs the antenna control processing as it is if the present time is ealier than the time obtained by subtracting the movement time alpha from the reception start time set to a timer. When the antenna starts to move, a pulse signal corresponding to the extent and the direction of movement of the antenna is generated from an actuator and is inputted to the microprocessor 11 through an input terminal 18. When a pulse counted value PN for the present position of the antenna is equal to or smaller than (a) (contents of a register), movement of the antenna is stopped.
