PURPOSE:To improve oxidation resistance by curing a curable organic binder in a specific gas atmosphere when a bonded magnet, in which the powder of an Nd-Fe-B group magnet alloy is bonded by the organic binder, is manufactured. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of a bonded magnet by bonding the powder of an Nd-Fe-B group magnet alloy by a curable organic binder, the organic binder is cured in an atmosphere selected from CO2, N2 or a CO2+N2 mixed gas or alloy powder is exposed to an atmospheric gas selected from CO2, N2 or the CO2+N2 mixed gas and kneaded with the organic binder. Oxidation resistance is improved and the deterioration of the performance of the magnet due to oxidation is prevented in the Nd-Fe-B bonded magnet manufactured according to the method, thus enhancing durability. |
