PURPOSE:To obtain a light-weight structural material having a sound absorptive property and a vibration absorptive property and excellent in waterproof and moisture-proof properties by covering the interior of a metal mold coated with a coating composition having a lid fitted with an organic fibrin-containing board, and injecting a polyurethane foaming stock solution into the mold and foaming and hardening the same. CONSTITUTION:A silicone resin layer 2 which has copied a desired pattern beforehand is fitted in an aluminum diecast metal mold 1. The projection of the resin layer 2 is subjected to masking, and a lace 5 is fitted to the recessed part 4 for the lace. Thereafter, the interior of the resin layer 2 is coated with a coating composition A thereby to form a coated film 6. Upon this occasion, the lower part 6' of the lace is coated with a separate coating composition B. Then, the mask of the projection of the resin layer 2 is removed and a fabric 7 is placed thereon so that it is press-fitted by the lower face of the board 9 and the projection 3. After fitting the lid 8 in the metal mold 1, a urethane foaming stock solution is injected in the hollow part and foamed. Then, the solution is hardened, and thereafter it is taken out as a shaped article. |
