PURPOSE:To efficiently carry out color recording by plane scanning by carrying out superimposed recording of respective colors while reciprocating injection heads of three elementary colors and black injection heads, in a liquid drop injection type color recording machine of an impulse pump system. CONSTITUTION:On a reciprocating machine stand 5 there are arranged at a predetermined interval a plurality of liquid drop injection blocks each consisting of injection heads of four colors, i.e., black 11-16, cyan 21-26, Mazenta 31-36 and yellow 41-46, which blocks inject liquid drops in correspondence to the amplitude of electrically driven pulses. The injection heads are connected respectively to ink tanks 1, 2, 3 and 4, and superimposed recording of respective color inks is carried out while reciprocating respective injection heads. By this procedure, it becomes possible to carry out color recording due to plane scanning of an impulse pump system. As a result, the supply of a recording medium can be carried out continuously, and, at the same time, it becomes possible to observe the recording process. |
