PURPOSE:To simplify the attachment of a coil to a stator and the use of stators with different capacity and the number of phases by a method wherein a coil having such a shape that encircles the interior and exterior of an iron core is arranged over the whole surface of the iron core so that a stator is formed. CONSTITUTION:A proper number of slots 3 are provided on the inside surface of an iron core in an axial direction, and a bobbin 4 is attached to the iron core in such a way that the bobbin encircles the inside and outside surfaces of the iron core 2 including the slot 3. A conductive wire provided with an insulating coating by means of a troidal winding machine is wound onto the bobbin 4 in order to form the coil 6 of a stator. By so doing, it is possible to simplify the attachment of a coil 6 to the stator, and to prevent the dielectric breakdown of the coil 6, and to obtain AC machines with different capacity and phases by suitably wiring the lead wires 7, 8 of each stator coil 6. |
