<p>The present invention discloses a method for preparing tooth structure, such as dentin and enamel, for bonding with a composite material. The method includes the steps of creating a fluid stream laden with an abrasive material (12), such as aluminum oxide. The fluid stream is directed towards the tooth structure (14) so that the abrasive material laden fluid stream impinges upon the tooth structure and roughens it for enhanced bonding with composite material.</p> |
