A doorstop for a hinge arranged between the door and the body of a cupboard (12) mounted in a row of cupboards allows a door (10) to swivel open over 180 DEG around a hinge axis (16) arranged on the outer side of the door of the cupboard (12) and to be stopped in that position. The doorstop has a guide rail (18) secured to the body (12) of the cupboard and a stop rod (20) mounted so as to swivel around an axis (22), guided at one end in the guide rail (18) up to a stop (24, 27) and at the other end supported on a projecting bearing (21) on the inner side of the door. The stop rod is guided with a head (23) having an offset diameter (25, 26) in the guide slot (19) of the guide rail (18) and can be sunk into an angular opening (24) that receives the head (23) and acts as a stop.
