Described is a fixture for holding several workpieces to be worked by numerically controlled machine tools. The fixture has a baseplate (1) on which are fixed a positioning jaw (10) and at least two intermediate gripper jaws (20). By virtue of the shape and construction of the workpiece holding fixture proposed, the distance between each of the workpieces gripped by the same workpiece holding fixture is precisely defined so that the surface (25) of each intermediate gripper (20) defines a new auxiliary zero point for the numerically controlled machine tool. The machining programme can thus be restarted at any time at several points known in advance, the auxiliary zero points, so that optimum efficiency can be achieved with the prior art pallet system. |
