The transducer contains a plate or pill-shaped temp. dependent measurement sensor (8) arranged on the base (2) of a tubular transducer housing (1) with a contact plate (4) and insulator (5) between the sensor and base. The sensor is connected to transducer contacts via two electrical conductors. An insulating body with multiple through holes is used to insulate the temp. dependent measurement sensor wrt. the base of the housing. USE/ADVANTAGE - Primarily for use in motor vehicle having semiconductor or PTC or NTC resistor. Transducer responds rapidly to temp. changes.
