Solid particle separator from gas-solids flow - has reversible flow cyclones in horizontal configuration, and collector with closable cleaning apertures

The separator contains several parallel cyclones (1A-F).Their discharge apertures open into a shared collector (8), from which the separated particles can be removed. The cyclones are of a flow-reversible type and are arranged horizontally. The collector has a closable cleaning aperture at the side away from the cyclone discharge apertures. The collector bottom (8b) has the particle removal trap (8c). USE/ADVANTAGE - Sepn. of paint powder particles in painting installation, with reduced cleaning cost.
