The use of 6-(3- and/or 4-substd. phenyl)- 3(2H)-pyridazinone or -3-(cyanoamino)-pyridazine derivs. of formula (I) or their salts with bases is claimed for prodn. of medicaments for treatment of allergic and/or chronic deficiency reactions in the upper respiratory tract (throat, nose) and neighbouring regions (sinuses, eyes), e.g. allergic or chronic rhinitis-sinusitis, allergic conjunctivitis and nasal polyps: on of R1,R2 = H, 1-5C alkoxy or OCHF2; the other = 1-5C alkoxy, 4-7C cycloalkoxy, 3-7C cycloalkyl-methoxy, 3-5C alkenyloxy or 1-4C polyfluoroalkoxy; X = OH a cyanoamino.
